Adopt a Community Garden
Sustain Neighborhood Growing Spaces
Community Investment Program
Our community and school gardeners cultivate lasting change in their neighborhoods – growing healthy food, healing systemic harm, and strengthening connections.
By “adopting” a garden, your company, group, or family can provide stability for these cherished green spaces.

Your Commitment to our Community
Garden adoption is a minimum three-year commitment, ensuring consistency of resources from season to season. Yearly adoption fees are set at $1,500 per garden, per year.
Funding will be applied to the adopted garden’s projects, seasonal needs, and repairs. To ensure equity in growth across our cities, a percentage of the sponsorship will be allocated to other gardens in the Grassroots Gardens WNY network.
Adopting organizations are encouraged, but not required, to get involved in the gardens they adopt. This could be helping at a volunteer day, meeting gardeners at a community meeting, or watering the plants during the summer.
