We are currently seeking a Community Garden Trainer.

Want a flexible job working with our network of community gardeners? The Community Garden Trainer is our in-house expert resource for our adult gardeners. This individual will act as a mentor and traainer to our community gardeners, assisting them with planting, pest problems, harvesting and more. The Community Garden Trainer will also evalauate our gardens, help care for plantings within our grant-funded programs, teach in our annual Spring Seminar series and perform community outreach as needed. 

This position reports to the Program Manager. The schedule is flexible, however, some evenings and Saturdays will be necessary. We will work with the right candidate to shape this job to be part-time to full-time; seasonal or permanent.  Benefits include a fun work environment, a committed team, sunshine, paid time off, a flexible schedule, and a chance to create real community change.
