About the Event
Sylvin & Caesandra will share interesting facts about the importance of both plants to migrating monarchs - plus tips for growing both in your pollinator buffet! Learn to identify several types of milkweed and goldenrod that might work in your garden.
This event will include a 60-minute educational component, as well as 30 minutes of hands-on volunteer assistance in the school garden. Volunteers can take a clump of milkweed and goldenrod home with them.
NO SKILLS NECESSARY
Bring your favorite gloves, water bottle and sunhat!
Please note: There are no bathroom facilities for this event. Bees are kept on-site.
