Scajaquada Restoration Plan Community Workshop – Delavan-Grider Community Center

Grassroots Gardens WNY is supporting the work of Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper’s Community–Driven Scajaquada Restoration Plan.

This workshop, hosted by Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, is for community members who want to learn more about the Scajaquada Creek Ecological Restoration Plan. Meet the project team and provide input on the best areas to implement restoration and resiliency projects in the local watershed.

This is the third of three workshops, focusing on different sections of the watershed. This workshop’s focus is on the buried section of the watershed, encompassing the neighborhoods of Pine Hill in Cheektowaga and Hamlin Park, Trinidad, Cold Springs, Leroy, Kensington, Kenfield, Schiller Park, Genesee Moselle, Delevan-Grider, Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Masten Park, and Kingsley on the east side of Buffalo.
