Rat Control Community Workshop

Join the Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP) Growing Green Program for a free, hands-on Rat Control Community Workshop, organized by MAP in partnership with Cornell IPM and The Tool Library.
Rats are a common challenge in urban environments and can threaten food safety, soil health, and community spaces. This workshop will introduce participants to Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles and management methods you can use in your own garden, farm, or community space.
A field demonstration of a burrow treatment method for rat control will be included in the session. Participants who attend will also have the opportunity to rent the treatment through the Tool Library for residential burrow treatment.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a better understanding of your options for environmentally responsible pest management practices.
