Grassroots Gardens 5K/10K/15K (2026 Race)

June 27 @ 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
$35 – $45
Runners of the Grassroots Gardens 5K/10K/15K make their way along the Niagara River. The runners are on a path, running away from the camera. There is green grass and a park bench in the foreground, with a blue bridge in the background behind runners.

Join us on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1 pm for the 9th Annual Grassroots Gardens 5K/10K/15K races!

Brought to you by iRunWNY and LaSalle Vineyard & Community Garden, our 5K/10K/15K raises funds and awareness for Grassroots Gardens WNY. All three distances feature beautiful and scenic views of the upper Niagara River.

All three races will start and finish at LaSalle Waterfront Park using the USATF-certified course maps. We will have two water stations set up near the 5K and 10K turnarounds. 15K runners will run the out-and-back 5K course first, then run the 10K out-and-back course for a total of 15K.

Professional timing and finish line services using industry-leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. 5K/10K/15K results update throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line.
