Grape Vine Pruning

Join us at LaSalle Vineyard and Community Garden for this volunteer-and-learn session, where we’ll be pruning the garden’s signature grape vines! Proper care of vines in the late-winter is a vital part of the growing process, and we need a little extra help getting them in their best shape for Spring.

While working on the vines, learn about common pests and diseases for grapes, as well as ways you can address them.

No prior experience needed, and we will provide all required tools! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, as the garden may be muddy. Ample parking is available on the residential streets adjacent to the garden.

RSVP here so we bring enough tools for everyone!

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5-6 PM.

LaSalle Vineyard and Community Garden is also the host of our annual 5K/10K/15K! Whether you’re a runner, walker, or would like to volunteer, get the details on this year’s event here.
