Summer 2026 Volunteer Orientation
Join us for our Summer Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, August 12, from 6-8 PM! Whether you’re a local gardener or a neighbor interested in supporting community gardens in Buffalo and Niagara Falls, we’d love to have you.
This orientation is designed for interested volunteers, and it will be held at the Grassroots Gardens WNY office.
You’ll learn about our volunteer program, upcoming opportunities, and the many ways you can get involved. We’ll also share details about three upcoming volunteer events on August 19, August 26, and September 2. Following the presentation, participants will take part in a hands-on activity to build practical skills that can be used throughout our garden network.
No prior gardening experience or tools required – we’ll have everything (we just need you!)
