Charitable vending machine by Conor J. Casey Foundation features GGWNY and local nonprofits

You have never seen a vending machine like this!

The innovative minds of the Conor J. Casey Foundation installed Buffalo’s first charitable “Love Machine!” Set up in the main checkout area of Lexington Co-op’s Hertel Avenue location, this custom vending machine features dozens of local nonprofit projects available to support. Donors can give a gift to one or more of the 24 local agencies in a single transaction, making it easier than ever to get involved with neighborhood initiatives.

Each card in the machine features a specific need of a local nonprofit. QR codes on the vended cards provide more information about the chosen organization.

You can see a close-up of the participating organizations and projects via this post.

At launch, the Love Machine is available at Lexington Co-op (1678 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14216). But this isn’t your average vending machine – the location will change throughout the holiday season! Keep up on its whereabouts by following the Conor J. Casey Foundation on Instagram to see where it moves next.

In our gardens, the Conor J. Casey Foundation made a substantial impact during the 2025 season, funding the complete overhaul of BPS 03 D’Youville Porter Campus School’s Hope Garden in October.
